ROLE DESCRIPTION
Mindtree is seeking a software engineer for Calypso Front Office Product, which is responsible for the behavior of complex structured derivatives and fixed income cash products throughout the platform, and additionally responsible for a number of cross-asset front office tools and UI frameworks. This position is an opportunity for an engineer who is interested in the financial markets and enjoys creating innovative end-user experiences to participate in the development of one of the capital markets leading front office application suites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and implement new features in company's commercial software system, and improving existing ones
- Create automated integration and unit tests for assigned projects
- Work with Product Management to understand product specifications
- Review code and designs, providing engineering mentorship to team members
- Work in close liaison with Quality Assurance team and Technical Publications team, ensuring product quality and accurate customer documentation.
- Provide recommendations and help improve development tools and processes
- Must have - Extensive experience in Calypso Technology preferably in Front Office
- Must have- 4+ years of experience in commercial Java software development
- Must have – working knowledge of Swing, JavaFX, Angular or other UI toolkits
- Must have - excellent object-oriented analysis, design & development skills
